Now, this is just my opinion, but I really think Robert Muchamore's 'CHERUB' series and The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson should have been on this list! I was kind of disappointed that they weren't :( Especially CHERUB because that's a very popular and well known series, so I thought it would be. Oh well!
What do you think of this list? Have you read many of the books on it? Which ones? What books do you think should be on the list, that aren't? And what books do you think shouldn't be on this list?
P.S. This list is in alphatbetic order, so it's not like 'Beastly' is the best YA book ever, and 'The Lovely Bones' is the second best and so on, it's just laid out that way! I, stupidly, didn't even notice this at first!
If we could all contribute to the list, then I'm sure it'd have much more of the 'best' YA books in there :) I really want to read The Sky is Everywhere, though
ReplyDeleteThe Sky Is Everywhere should definitely be on the list! This looks really fun to do :)
ReplyDeleteHey Cliona :) It's Rachel :D I'm not giving up completely on the blogosphere, I've made a blog where I post what I've done that day etc:

I've read Matched by Ally Condie, A few of the Alex Rider novels (loved Point Blanc), The Harry Potter books and The Inkheart Trilogy :D
I will be trying to comment on your and Zoe's blogs but you can feel free to keep in touch via email :)
I've read 31 of these including each book in the series', but I really want to read the Hunger Games trilogy!! I agree, The Sky Is Everywhere should definetly be there!
